Amsterdam, Holland

Upon arriving in Europe, the first place my classmates and I went to was Amsterdam. Amsterdam was a very busy city with many pedestrians and bikers. We stayed in a hotel called the "Botel," which was literally, a hotel on the water. It was an amazing city to see with all of its beautiful side streets and shops. We even got lucky to attend the fair that was taking place in downtown Amsterdam. At one point, our group left Amsterdam and visited a rurual village in Holland, outside of Amsterdam, where we were given the opportunity to see how cheese was made as well as wooden shoes. We saw many windmills as well in this beautiful country. Below, you can see some of the sites from Amsterdam.
